Very coarse polishing compound for gelcoats and boat paints

Highly abrasive machine polish for the preparation of heavily weathered gelcoats and boat paints. Also suitable for dark gelcoats and paint colors. Effectively removes graying, deep scratches and scuff marks from fenders, for example, and is ideal for preparing for the subsequent polishing process. Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut is free from silicone oils and has low dust and spray development.

Areas of use, For very heavily weathered, grayed and stressed gelcoats and paints in the boat sector.

Can be applied using both rotary and eccentric polishing machines. Apply 5 pea-sized drops to a suitable polishing pad (Heavy Cut Pad, Lambswool Pad short or Twisted Wool Pad) and work crosswise. Spread the product evenly over the surface at low speed. Then polish with a rotary machine at max. 1000 rpm (eccentric machine on the highest setting). Remove any remaining polish with a Polish & Sealing Towel. On dark surfaces, polishing marks can be removed with Gelcoat Micro Cut. We recommend sealing after polishing with Gelcoat Finish, Marine Protective Sealant or Ceramic Boat Hull to close the pores of the surface.

Shake before use. Check for material compatibility before use. Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect from frost and excessive heat.
